SEAN STEMALY REVS UP WITH PREMIERE OF “Z71” MUSIC VIDEO, OUT NOW
TRUCK-LOVING CLIP IS AN ODE TO ONE OF STEMALY’S BIGGEST PASSIONS
NASHVILLE, TENN. (September 27, 2021) – Big Loud Records’ Sean Stemaly has his eyes on the road with the release of his music video for “Z71,” out everywhere now. The diesel truck-focused clip is a tribute to the high-horsepower trucks the Country riser has been driving since he was 16 years old.
Directed by Justin Clough and produced by Melissa Michalak, the video was filmed in scenic Hohenwald, TN and stars Stemaly alongside a lifted lineup of tricked-out trucks. An airport runway made a perfect track for Stemaly’s freewheeling joyride in a custom Z71 truck, the singer flying down the open road as he’s followed by some additional horsepower.
“The ‘Z71’ video was the most fun and the most challenging we’ve done so far,” Stemaly shares. “We fought the rain all day, but in the end it made the video look even better. It feels good to bring the song to life in this way, and I hope the fans like it just as much as I do.”
Stemaly is no stranger to motors — a certified Cummins diesel mechanic and heavy equipment operator, the Kentucky native built custom show and race trucks in high school, a passion that shines through on “Z71,” which Stemaly penned with Brett Tyler and Andy Albert. With over 11 MILLION global streams tallied in less than 60 days, the driving track hit the gas after Stemaly posted a work-tape demo on TikTok. Fans began using the song to showcase their custom-built diesel trucks, quickly making “Z71” a viral hit.
“Z71” is the latest new music from Stemaly, whose 2020 release “Come Back To Bed” made him one to watch in Country music. He has also released fan-favorites including “Hello, You Up,” “As Far As I Know,” “Last Day All Night” and “Back On A Back Road,” which have earned him over 115 MILLION global artist streams to date. Stemaly is currently working with producer Joey Moi with co-production by Derek Wells and will continue to drop fresh music through the rest of the year.
